Jacqueline Legande ENG 111 September 18, 2009 Beth I had made hand drawn pictures of tout ensemble the states, and all the details in each and e veryone. The details ranged from the rivers, to crops produced by each and state to the population and major resource for that state. It was so colorful; I had the state bird, flower, tree, flag, and song for each one. I learned a lot from doing that project, also. The teacher says, “If you don’t prove aloud, you’ll fail.” I still refuse to realize. I digest to my seat, and mad equivalent a bee getting hit. Because I refused to train my report on the last day of school, I lost(p) 50% of my final grade and failed fifth grade. I was too naïve to realize the consequences of this early failure on my academician future. So I didn’t worry about impuissance or having to repeat half of fifth grade. My fear of training started very early, though I don’t remembermy strike age, sc arce I was no bigger than the height of a eat room table.

I was living with my mom in a homeless shelter, which was crowded and noisy. I remember kids streak most everywhere. My mom got me a tutor to help me read on my grade level. I remember my tutor like it was yesterday. She had huge wavy black hair, big glasses, and she would wear this necklace that hold binding like a rope. She was so nice and mean if you didn’t do you work. I think her name was Mrs. Smith.
